In Winter, when the light of the blue hour announces the evening atmosphere, you can join in special moments on the glacier yourself.
- Experience no. 1) drive a PistenBully with 510 horsepower
- Experience No. 2) in a group (max 14 people) you can discover the mountain world with the glacier taxi and a guide
- Experience No. 3) for handicaped people, discover the mountains with the glacier taxi and guide

Experience no. 1) Drive a PistenBully
Pure adrenaline when you drive a PistenBully with 510 horsepower and eight tons yourself! Every night the PistenBully team from the Kaunertal Glacier provides perfect snow and slope conditions. Take a seat behind the wheel of a PistenBully and receive exciting insights into their work under the guidance of the experts.
Experience no. 2) for group of people
When the ski lifts have stopped, the visitors have all skied back down to the valley and everything is quiet on the mountain, the unique atmosphere of the blue hour begins, which you can experience comfortably and not every day with the round trip in the glacier taxi.
Programme & Informations
- Independent travel to the glacier car park (25 minutes) – car toll included in the price
- Meet: at the agreed date at 4.00 pm at the Weißsee glacier restaurant with the PistenBully driver and guide
- Trip in the blue hour lasting approx. 1.5 hours
- Includes guide, who will tell you all about the glacier world and its special features
- Inkluding a stop for some mulled wine All participants receive a Kaunertal cup as a keepsake
- Don’t forget: warm clothing and sturdy shoes (no ski boots)

We offer the blue hour in which you can experience the magic of the Kaunertal mountains as well for people with disabilities.
With the round trip in our glacier taxi, people in wheelchairs can get to places where the play of colors in the mountains at the evening atmosphere is most beautiful.
