Fascinating glacier ice - guided tours through more than 100 years of history

Unique ice!
It is a special experience to walk through the crevasse, feel the icy sensation and admire the fascinating colour palette of different shades of blue. Here you can see and feel ice that is at least a century old and has travelled over the years from the Weißseeferner feeding area to the area of the glacier tongue.

From July til end of August – guided tours through a unique glacier world.
Meeting point for the free tour is at 11.00 a.m. on the sun terrace of the Weißseerestaurant (2.750 m).

Of course we offer private tours on request!

We recommend that you wear sturdy shoes during your hike into eternal ice!
